Feature Team Members

Katie Conard is an Analyst with the Women, Business, and the Law project. Katie joined the project in June 2026. She is currently pursuing a J.D. and LL.M in Sustainable International Development at the University of Washington School of Law. Prior to law school, Katie worked as an English teacher in Chile and Taiwan. She completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Kansas, where she triple-majored in anthropology, East Asian languages and cultures, and global and international studies. She later obtained a master's degree in Belgium, where she studied social and cultural anthropology at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. She is a native English speaker, proficient in Taiwanese Mandarin, and a beginner in Japanese and French.
